As the father of five children and the son of elderly parents, I can empathize on how difficult and stressful these past few months have been for all of you.
You and your children have been in my prayers.
I want you to know that our staff is committed to providing the safest and best educational learning environment for students who arrive for face-to-face instruction or students learning from home.
We are excited to tackle the challenges of this school year. Our staff has not only the talent, but also the will and the courage to help your children learn academic, social and emotional competencies.
There will be many things to work through, but I am confident that our team and our wonderful John Young Community will rise up to the challenges. I want to thank our PTA and our School Advisory Council for their wonderful support this summer.
School safety and health precautions will be shared with all our families on multiple platforms. We will post information on all of our social media sites (Class Dojo, Facebook, and Twitter), as well as our school website. Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you have any questions.
