For safety reasons, many parents have purchased cell phones for their elementary school students. Students bringing cell phones to campus must follow these rules:
- Once a child has reached the JYE campus, the cell phone should be turned off and placed inside the student's backpack.
- Students will not be allowed to talk with parents on their cell phones once they are on campus. If you need to speak with your child during the school day, please call the office. A message will be taken and delivered to your child's teacher.
- Other electronic devices such as iPods, MP3 players or game systems are not to be brought to school.
