The School Advisory Council (SAC) is the decision making body for school improvement and accountability. Membership includes the school principal, teachers, staff, parents, students, and business and community representatives. In accordance with state mandate, these individuals must be representative of the ethnic, racial and economic makeup of the community served by John Young Elementary School. SAC team members are empowered to make a difference. The SAC reviews student achievement data, listens to the opinions of our community, and establishes action plans that contribute to our success in meeting the goals set for our school. SAC meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month in the Media Center at 5pm.
